Garden

An Outdoor Learning Space

Years ago, a second grade Stephens student asked a powerful question, "why doesn't our school have a garden?" That one question got the ball rolling and our garden is now well underway. A small group of parents and community members have been meeting to grow and sustain our school garden. You'll notice that our school garden now has beds and benches. Classrooms take advantage of this outdoor learning space by reading in it and writing about it. Next time you stop by our school, check it out! It's located to the right of the main front entrance.
